I loved the neighborhood and how conveniently located everything was. We walked to the underground, Stop 33 for the Big Bus Tours, grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment. The neighborhood itself felt like a peaceful retreat, with quiet streets just a few hundred meters from all the action. The hotel was a real gem for us. We especially enjoyed the communal kitchen and dining area in the evenings, as well as the breakfast, which was always well-stocked and plentiful. We met so many wonderful people during our stay—connections we plan to keep for future travels. During my time in the military, I lived in the UK, and I tried to set my partner’s expectations about room and bathroom sizes, elevator space, and heating differences between central systems and individual room units. My efforts were only partially successful. I should've spent more time emphasizing that a typical bathroom in a UK B&B or hotel is just that—a bathroom, not a spa. Once I explained and he saw it, the expectations were set and everything made sense. We arrived during a cold spell after traveling from warmer climates; Greece, Italy, Spain, and Paris. After a quick tutorial on how to turn on the heat, he got the hang of it and made it comfortable. Our stay was fun and adventurous. We really enjoyed ourselves. We’d definitely recommend it—👍🏾 👍🏾 up.

Hospitality was top-notch! We felt like we were staying with family while there. The breakfast was delicious, and staff were very friendly. The ability to stay with our large group (2 families, 5 people each) was fantastic, especially in London. And having the two adjacent rooms connected with a balcony was a pleasant surprise. The kids loved the 2nd story loft! The lobby area was really beautiful, too. The location was great for us as it was close to Hyde Park, so our kids could feed the birds. We also really appreciated the ability to have tea late at night in the kitchen area after sightseeing.

The staff was amazing and possibly the best part of this hotel. They were all very friendly and helpful. I was able to use the kitchen to cook for myself which was very convenient. The room was ok, fairly dated but comfortable. I really appreciated the fan that was provided as the room got a little hot at night. I also appreciated the free body wash that was provided. The wifi was good and check-out was simple. The location is great, unfortunately the closest tube station was closed due to strikes when I stayed. But the next station was only a 10 minute walk so still incredibly convenient.

The property was central to everything metro, restaurants and supermarket. The staff were absolutely amazing, so accomodating to everything. Daniel at reception was fantastic, showing us around the property, explaining everything. We travel often and we’ve never met anyone as lovely as him. Thanks Daniel for also assisting my wife and daughter in making it to station, without Daniel dragging their suitcases at 7am down the street and flagging a taxi down, they would never had made it! Wonderful staff and and great , very clean property!

It’s in an excellent location, just 2 blocks from the metro station and near to good cafes, restaurants, pubs, etc and you can move easily around the city from there to visit the most common places. Staff was very nice, and the breakfast is very good. The area is super quiet at night so you can rest properly after a long day I’d definitely recommend this property!
